Leizl M. Tabon, CPA – PARTNER

Leizl began her accounting career in 2002, where she served in the predecessor firm for 14 years.  She is a specialist in a broad base of tax matters, financial statement preparation, compilation, review, and audit. 

Leizl earned her Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of San Francisco. She also did post-graduate study at Golden Gate University in Accounting and Taxation.

In addition, Leizl serves on the board of the Maui High School Foundation.

 

DOUGLAS K. LEVIN, CPA, MBT – Partner

Doug is a Specialist in taxation of C & S corporations, partnerships, and high net worth individuals. He has additional experience in multi-state taxation and U.S. taxation of foreign operations.

Doug has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 1987, a Certificate in Accounting from CSUDH in 1993, and a Masters in Business Taxation at the University of Southern California in 1997.  He started his career as a senior accountant in private industry for 5 years, then spent 7 years with Deloitte & Touche as a Tax Manager in the Los Angeles area. He moved to Maui, Hawaii in 2000, where he started his own practice, which later merged in 2006 to form the predecessor firm to Levin & Tabon.

LINDA LEIGH-HELBLING

Linda Leigh-Helbling – Tax director

Linda comes to Levin & Tabon with 20 plus years professional experience in individual, expatriate and small business taxation.

Linda is a graduate of Southern Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.

Linda lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for 12 years.  While employed by Saudi Arabian Oil Co, she managed the U.S non-resident tax compliance programs. 

Linda’s goal is to understand her client’s needs and provide them with appropriate professional services.  Her maturity, friendliness and expatriate experiences enhance her ability to meet this goal.

MARYALICE MASUDA - SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Maryalice is a graduate of the University of Hawaii - West Oahu and Maui Community College.  She holds a B.A. in Business Administration - Accounting and an A.A. in Liberal Arts.    

Maryalice brings to Levin & Tabon approximately 15 years of public accounting experience. Maryalice is currently pursuing her CPA designation.   

She is a member of the Apostolic Faith Church aka "Jesus Coming Soon," where she is a member of the Choir and Orchestra.  She enjoys reading, listening to music, singing for the Lord and spending time with family and helping others.

bILL lANG - sTAFF aCCOUNTANT

Bill joins Levin & Tabon with over two decades of experience in international finance.

As a graduate of California State University he earned a degree in international relations, before moving to Switzerland and pursuing a career in finance and trading. During his career he was always fascinated by the taxation aspect of his work. That interest led Bill to transition his career focus from finance to taxation.

Raised on Oahu’s North Shore and attending high school and college in California, he also spent 25 years in Switzerland before moving to Maui with his family.

 
 

E M I L Y S I T T I G - EXECUTIVE OFFICE ASSISTANT

Emily joined the Levin & Tabon team after working in retail management for nearly 20 years where she was able to hone her customer service and team building skills.  These attributes have contributed to running a friendly and efficient office for all of our clients and staff.
